JRU players caught dancing post-melee

The brawl that occurred between John Amores and members of College of Saint Benilde’s seniors’ basketball team on Tuesday afternoon has left a bitter taste in the mouths of the local basketball community.

However, there were a couple of moments during the almost hour-long deliberation that were seen as both offensive and downright obnoxious by CSB.

As the league’s management committee and tournament officials were deliberating whether to abandon the game or not, two Heavy Bombers were caught on camera dancing on the sidelines.

Here is the video courtesy of GTV:

Moreover, some members of the Heavy Bombers were also seen taking pictures with the school’s pep squad, the Cheer Explosives.

This all happened while Amores was locked down inside the JRU locker room at the Filoil Ecooil Centre.

The league’s ManCom is set to meet on Wednesday to review all the possible footage during the incident.

A verdict is expected to be announced by Thursday.
