Jimmy Alapag is bringing in a familiar face to his coaching staff as he begins his tenure as NLEX head coach.
Jamike Jarin will serve as one of Alapag’s deputy coaches with the Road Warriors, becoming the only addition personally brought in by the former PBA Most Valuable Player.
Jarin and Alapag have built a strong working relationship over the years, having been together during their time with TNT and later at Meralco.

Jarin served as an assistant coach under Chot Reyes at TNT from 2010 to 2013 before joining Norman Black’s coaching staff at Meralco.
He was also part of the Bolts’ bench during Alapag’s final season as a professional player in 2015.
Jarin previously served as the head coach of Phoenix Super LPG before being replaced by Charles Tiu last year.
Aside from Jarin’s arrival, the rest of the Road Warriors’ coaching staff will remain intact.
The move also marks Jarin’s return to the MVP Group after a nine-year absence.
