Jimboy Pasturan ruled out of season due to dislocated shoulder


Already in the midst of a two-game losing streak, the College of Saint Benilde Blazers suffered a big loss in their NCAA Season 95 Seniors Basketball tournament campaign as well.

Lead guard Jimboy Pasturan has been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder that will cost him the season.

The coaches of the Blazers confirmed the development first reported by Joey Villar of the Philippine Star.

The injury happened during the closing seconds of Saint Benilde’s loss to San Beda last Friday. Down big, the former Adamson Soaring Falcons’ shoulder was caught in a screen by Red Lions big man Damie Cuntapay.

For his ejection, TY Tang will not be around as well during CSB’s game against Letran on Tuesday as he was slapped with a one-game suspension.

Serving as head coach of the team for the game will be Charles Tiu.
