Jimboy Pasturan ruled out of season due to dislocated shoulder

Already in the midst of a two-game losing streak, the College of Saint Benilde Blazers suffered a big loss in their NCAA Season 95 Seniors Basketball tournament campaign as well.

Lead guard Jimboy Pasturan has been diagnosed with a dislocated shoulder that will cost him the season.

The coaches of the Blazers confirmed the development first reported by Joey Villar of the Philippine Star.

The injury happened during the closing seconds of Saint Benilde’s loss to San Beda last Friday. Down big, the former Adamson Soaring Falcons’ shoulder was caught in a screen by Red Lions big man Damie Cuntapay.

Pasturan was a huge factor in the Blazers’ strong start, averaging 12.0 points on a team-best 37-percent clip from threes, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in their first six games.ncaa-95-sbu-def-csb-ty-tang Jimboy Pasturan ruled out of season due to dislocated shoulder Basketball CSB NCAA News - philippine sports news
