Jia De Guzman earns fourth PVL Finals MVP award


Jia De Guzman took home the Finals Most Valuable Player award after steering Creamline to the 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference title, Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

“I want to thank my Creamline family. From the players to the coaching staff and the management and also the supporters, hindi kami aabot dito kung wala kayo,” she said.

“Para sa ating lahat ito.”

She then tossed 18 excellent sets in Game Three to help Creamline bag its sixth championship in the PVL.

This is the fourth time she won Finals MVP, taking the award in the Reinforced 2018, Open 2018, and Open 2019.

De Guzman was also named the Best Setter of the tournament.
