In what was an untimely and bizarre accident, Jervy Cruz is ruled out of the PBA Governors’ Cup semi-final after a sustaining a fracture in his left toe.
The Rain or Shine forward said he was at home last night and was watching television before the accident caused the television to drop right on his left foot.
“Naglilipat ako ng (channel) ng TV tapos aksidenteng nadulas yung TV and sakto naman sa (paa) ko,” he relayed.
Sports5’s Sel Guevara also posted on her Instagram the details of Cruz’s injury and that he will need around 6-8 weeks to recover.
Cruz is averaging 4.4 PPG and 2.8 RPG in 17 minutes per match this conference.
