Hesed Gabo will miss the remainder of the PBA On Tour.
The NLEX guard has been diagnosed with a nerve compression syndrome in his lower left leg, which means he will be sidelined for 2-3 months.
The diagnosis was made on June 14, putting an end to Gabo’s participation in the ongoing preseason tournament. In the three games he played, his last appearance was on June 9 against Phoenix, where he contributed 11 points in their 112-95 victory.
Gabo’s absence is another blow to the Road Warriors, who have already been dealing with injuries.
Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser suffered a fractured foot during his time with Gilas Pilipinas in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games last May.
Meanwhile, veteran forward Anthony Semerad has been out as well.
It is unlikely that Rosser and Semerad will be able to return for the remaining games in the preseason tournament, as the Road Warriors only have four games left.
Currently, NLEX holds a 3-4 record in the On Tour.
