Is Jeremiah Gray bound for a quick return?
Ginebra San Miguel has activated Jeremiah Gray a day prior to its best-of-three PBA Philippine Cup semifinals clash against Meralco.
Gray was activated in lieu of Kent Salado.
Surprising is this development as Gray is just eight months into his rehab.
Back on November 27, the athletic 6-foot-5 winger sustained an ACL tear during TNT’s PBA 3×3 clash against Limitless.
Despite the injury, Terrafirma still picked him as the second overall pick in the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft.
Gray was then traded by the Dyip to the Barangay two days after the draft in exchange for Javi Gomez de Liano and Brian Enriquez.
Having Gray will further boost Ginebra’s already deep lineup.
It can be recalled that Ginebra lost to Meralco in their elimination round clash, 90-73, last July 13.
