Gilas Women punch 3×3 World Cup ticket

Gilas Pilipinas Women continue to make history.

After winning a FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup silver medal just a week ago at the same venue, the Philippines added another milestone, punching its ticket to the World Cup after a 21-10 (9:21.2) win over host Singapore in a winner-take-all game on Sunday at OCBC Square.

The World Cup will be held from June 1 to 8 in Warsaw, Poland.

This is the second time Gilas Women will compete in the annual global meet, with the Philippines having previously hosted the event in 2018.
