Gilas Pilipinas Women inched closer to securing a berth in the FIBA 3×3 Under-23 World Cup after topping the fourth stop of the 2025 Youth Nations League – Asia-Pacific 1 on Monday morning (Manila time).

The Philippines once again defeated Chinese Taipei in the final, pulling off a 21-15 win (9:22) in Doha, Qatar.

It was a well-balanced effort from the Filipinas, with Cielo Pagdulagan and Tin Cayabyab leading the charge with six points apiece, while Kacey Dela Rosa added five.

Gilas Women now sits atop the overall standings with 370 points — 50 ahead of Chinese Taipei and 60 clear of New Zealand.

After suffering a heartbreaking 19-18 loss to New Zealand in Stop 3, the Filipinas bounced back with a vengeance, scoring a 14-10 win behind Dela Rosa’s six points, while Pagdulagan and Cayabyab chipped in four each.

The Philippines then secured a spot in the final by overpowering host nation Qatar, 21-14 (7:13).
