Gilas bring Bulanadi to Manama

No one left behind.

SMART-backed Gilas Pilipinas will be bringing their injured comrade Allyn Bulanadi to Manama, Bahrain.

Bulanadi, a 6-foot-2 swingman, dislocated his right shoulder during one of Gilas’ practice last week.

Also part of the Philippine contingent are Isaac Go, the Nieto twins, Rey Suerte, Jaydee Tungcab, the Gomez de Liaño brothers, Dwight Ramos, Kobe Paras, Justine Baltazar, Dave Ildefonso, William Navarro, Calvin Oftana, and Kemark Carino.

Angelo Kouame though will go back to his dorm in Katipunan.

Gilas’ coaching staff are head coach Jong Uichico, program director Tab Baldwin, Boyet Fernandez, Alton Lister, Sandro Soriano, and Andrei Tolentino.

The team leaves for Bahrain at 1:40PM, boarding Gulf Air jet GF 155. They are expected to arrive at Bahrain International Airport at 6:36PM.

All members of the team will then be given a standard RT-PCR test before heading to Gulf Court Hotel. The players and staff can leave their rooms once the results come back in.

The Philippines takes on regional rival Thailand on November 27 and 30.
