Gilas Pilipinas 3×3 continues to ride the crest of an unbeaten surge in the 30th Southeast Asian Games 3×3 men’s basketball competition on Monday.
The Philippine contingent completed a massive sweep of the elimination round, sealing their streak of dominance with a rout of Cambodia, 21-6, at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan City.
Jason Perkins imposed his will inside the shaded area, putting up a game-high 12 points to orchestrate Philippines’ drubbing of the visitors.
Earlier in the day, Gilas wrapped up their first assignments in decisive fashion, thumping the Malaysians with a 21-12 beatdown. Mo Tatuaa muscled his way to nine points, while CJ Perez chimed in six in the victory.
The Philippines enters the semifinals on a high with a 6-0 slate.
