During College of Saint Benilde’s straight-set win over University of Perpetual Help System DALTA on Tuesday, Gayle Pascual performed her best once again, against the Lady Altas.
Pascual posted a game-high stat of 22 points on 20 attacks and two blocks for the Lady Blazers.
Despite a tough game against Perpetual that saw three close sets, Pascual shared that their head coach, Jerry Yee, said to them they need to be composed every time.
And so they did with the match that ended in an hour and 24 minutes.
Pascual already has 70 points for the young season, built on 60 attacks, eight blocks, and two service aces.
With the win, Pascual is just enjoying her time playing, and telling her teammate to not be pressured with their unblemished 4-0 record or her scoring spree.
A long way is still ahead for the Lady Blazers, but Pascual will deliver monster stats and another win for her team to defend their championship title.
