Galang joins Morado’s cause, auctions La Salle jersey for COVID-19 frontliners

As Jia Morado auctioned off her Ateneo jersey, a former rival of hers followed suit.

La Salle standout Ara Galang has become a part of Morado’s fund-raising drive in a bid to help out the country’s frontliners against the coronavirus pandemic.

The game-worn jersey that Galang has put up for bidding is the one she used as a Lady Spiker back in the UAAP.

“Let us continue supporting the ongoing relief efforts happening in the country right now!” Morado and beau Miguel de Guzman wrote on their Facebook page, Every Little Thing Counts.

The starting bid is at PHP 1,200, which will increase by increments of 100. The auction will close on April 2, Thursday, at 12 noon.

The proceeds will go to the procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) for the healthcare workforce laying their lives on the line against the health crisis.

It's very touching to see people come together for a great cause!

Let us continue supporting the ongoing relief efforts…
