National University finished the entire 15th FilOil EcoOil Preseason Cup unblemished, taking home the championship after defeating Far Eastern University, 56-46, Saturday evening in San Juan City.
NU’s last championship title in the preseason cup was 10 years ago against De La Salle University.
Up by 47-44 with 2:53 left in the game Omar John and John Galinato sparked a 6-0 run to help the Bulldogs get the 53-44 advantage.
FEU finished second in the preseason cup while the Green Archers came in third place.
