Far Eastern University has listed three foreign student-athletes in its 20-man pool for UAAP Season 84 Men’s Basketball Tournament.
The Tamaraws’ main FSA will be Emman Ojuola.
The 6-foot-7 Nigerian Ojuola was supposed to play for FEU during the UAAP Season 82 tournament by way of the “Troy Rike rule” as he already graduated from Naga College Foundation.
FEU though opted to field Patrick T’Chuente instead during that season.
This will be Ojuola’s only year in FEU as he is already 25-years-old.
T’Chuente — a 6-foot-11 Cameroonian, meanwhile, is part of the four-man reserve list of FEU.
The 6-foot-11 big man averaged 7.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, and 1.47 blocks per game during Season 82.
Also listed in FEU’s reserve list is 6-foot-11 Senegalese big man Mouhamed Faty.
Faty has been with FEU’s Team B lineup since 2019.
FEU though can only field one FSA per game as per UAAP rules.
“There is no limit to the number of FSA in the reserve list but only one in the 16 man lineup,” said FEU athletics director Mark Molina.
Also included in FEU’s reserve list are Kevin Guibao and Jorick Bautista.
Teams though can only plug in their reserves in case one player from the 16-man roster tests positive for COVID-19.
If the reserve plays more than three games, it will be counted on his eligibility counter.
The rest of FEU’s main roster are RJ Abarrientos, L-Jay Gonzales, Chiolo Anonuevo, Royce Alforque, Brandrey Bienes, Joe Celzo, Aevin Coquia, Lito Dulatre, Rodel Gravera, Jason Li, Joshua Ramirez, Bryan Sajonia, Ximone Sandagon, Patrick Sleat, James Tempra, and Xyrus Torres.
