Fajardo excited for OQT

After getting a feel of various big men from other countries during Gilas’ tune-up games both here and in Europe, reigning PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo is excited to play in the OQT and match-up against NBA-caliber centers.

Although Fajardo struggled with foul trouble against Turkey, the reigning PBA MVP said he gained more confidence from the tune-up match.

Fajardo also said that although it will be a much different atmosphere going up against the world’s giants, he has the support of the entire team.

“Mahirap yung malaki eh. Mahirap talaga. Sabi naman ni coach kapag hindi kaya magbibigay naman ng help yung ibang teammates ko,” he said.
