Estrada mediates for Lord Casajeros, Yong Garcia

Two days after figuring in one of the most despicable moments in Philippine professional basketball, San Juan assistant coach Yong Garcia and Val City’s Lord Casajeros patched things up.

And it’s all thanks to Sen. Jinggoy Estrada.

The comebacking lawmaker act as a mediator between the two.

Garcia took the opportunity to apologize to Casajeros for spitting at him last Monday. The UE product accepted it.

Still, Garcia will be slapped with a P60,000 fine by the MPBL and will also serve a three-month suspension.

Last Monday, Garcia spat on the right shoulder of Casajeros with just a minute left before halftime, saying that he was frustrated with the way the guard defended the Knights players.
