EJ Laure strengthens Nxled ahead of clash with Chery Tiggo

EJ Laure has joined Nxled for the ongoing 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference, the team announced Monday afternoon.

The 27-year-old outside spiker is expected to play a crucial role for the young Chameleons, who are looking to bounce back after dropping their first two matches against PLDT and ZUS Coffee under the guidance of their new Italian head coach, Ettore Guidetti.

“We’re so thrilled to have you on board and can’t wait to see you light up this fresh start! We’re rooting for you on your return to the PVL court, EJ!” Nxled shared in a Facebook post.

Laure recently parted ways with Chery Tiggo during the offseason, ending nearly two years with the team.

She joined the Crossovers after their championship run in 2021 and competed in eight conferences, contributing to three semifinal appearances during her tenure.

Adding intrigue to her debut with Nxled, Laure will face her former squad, Chery Tiggo, in a highly-anticipated match on Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the Philsports Arena.
