Dell Palomata to join Indonesia’s Medan with PLDT’s full support

With the full backing of PLDT, Dell Palomata is ready to take her talents abroad, signing with the Medan Falcons to compete in Indonesia’s Proliga.

High Speed Hitters’ Bajjie Del Rosario confirmed the news to Tiebreaker Times.

Del Rosario said Palomata has the full blessing of PLDT management, emphasizing that opportunities like this are rare and that the move is a dream come true for the 6-foot-3 middle blocker.

“Yes, siyempre minsan lang dumating ‘yung ganyang opportunity,” said Del Rosario.

“Dream din ng isang player ‘yung makapag-import sa ibang bansa. Full support ang PLDT sa kanya.”

Palomata, however, will first finish the ongoing 2025 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference before joining her new team.

The High Speed Hitters have advanced to the semifinals of the import-laced tournament, where they will clash with ZUS Coffee on Thursday in a winner-takes-all knockout match for a spot in the championship round.

The 2026 Proliga season will begin this January.

Palomata recently made waves with Alas Pilipinas, playing a key role in the team’s historic silver-medal finish at the AVC Nations Cup, where she also earned the Best Middle Blocker award.
