SMDC-National University made it four straight wins to end their 2019 PBA D-League run, clipping Perpetual, 100-74, Monday at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
Dave Ildefonso guided his side to the victory with 20 points, six rebounds, and three assists.
John Lloyd Clemente came off the bench and contributed 16 points and four boards, while Patrick Yu scored 13. Senegalese big man Issa Gaye nabbed a double-double with his 11 points, 16 rebounds, and three blocks.
The superb showing allowed the Bulldogs to wrap up their assignments in the developmental ranks on a solid note, ending with a 4-5 record in the Foundation Group.
SMDC-NU used a strong third quarter surge, unfurling 24 points in the canto with Clemente putting his side up 19, 67-48.
The lead further grew to as much as 26, with the Bulldog shocktroopers making the most of the extended garbage time.
Tonton Peralta carried Perpetual (2-7) with his 18 points on a 4-of-11 clip from threes.
