To combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the goverment has implemented enhanced community quarantine across the country.
That is why Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3’s Dan Reducto concocted a plan that will help promote the #StayHomeChallenge, calling all his friends from Chooks 3×3 and the MPBL to send him a vid doing a dance from social media application Tiktok.
“Pampa-good vibes dapat ito and para maging aware ang mga tao sa Stay Home Challenge,” said the 22-year-old native of Angeles City Pampanga.
And a lot of the players joined sent their videos, including Ryan Monteclaro and Dylan Ababou of Chooks 3×3; Pasay’s Jaypee Belencion; Davao Occidental’s Jerwin Gaco and Richard Albo; Imus’ Jayjay Helterbrand, Jojo Cunanan, and JR Cawaling; Basilan’s Jhapz Bautista; Saragani’s Carlo and Joe Escalambre; Val City’s Paulo Hubalde; Zamboanga’s Leo De Vera; Paranaque’s Vinny Begaso; Manila’s Gian Abrigo; and Laguna’s Marlon Adolfo.
“Actually, marami dapat yun kaso sixty-seconds lang ang kasya e,” said Reducto, who compiled the videos.
“Siguro, next time na yun iba.”
The Division Finals of the Chooks-to-Go MPBL Lakan Season and the opening of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup have been postponed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
