Creamline vs Sta. Lucia to serve as PVL opening day main event


The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference will open with a bang.

Serving as the main event of the league’s opening day on July 17 at the PCV Socio-Civic Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte is a showdown between Alyssa Valdez and Creamline taking on Mika Reyes and Sta. Lucia.

The game will take place at 7:00PM.

The first game of the day at 1:00PM is a battle between ex-Philippine Superliga squads, Chery Tiggo and PLDT. Following that is Perlas going up against Cignal at 3:00PM.

July 17 will only be Saturday gameday in the calendar since it will serve as rest days.

On Sunday, Petro Gazz will face Black Mamba-Army at 3:00PM while Bali Pure squares off against Choco Mucho to cap the opening weekend.

The top four teams will advance to the best-of-three semifinals with the top seed taking on the fourth-ranked squad while the second- and third-placed teams face off.
