Creamline edges Pocari Sweat-Air Force in Legazpi City showdown


The Creamline Cool Smashers clinched their 10th win, outlasting the Pocari Sweat-Air Force Lady Warriors, 23-25, 25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 15-9, in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference in Legazpi City.

Four-time league MVP Alyssa Valdez led the Cool Smashers with 19 points and 14 digs, while Jema Galanza added 18 markers and 25 excellent receptions.

Pocari Sweat had two-time MVP Myla Pablo tallied 22 markers. Middle blocker Del Palomata managed 16 points.

Creamline (10-2) next take on the Iriga-Navy Oragons (3-8) on Wednesday at the FilOil Flying V Centre. Pocari Sweat (5-6) face the BanKo Perlas Spikers (8-2), also on Wednesday.
