CJ Perez, June Mar Fajardo get day off, Japeth Aguilar called up as Gilas begins 4-day camp

Basketball will not stop for June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez.

The two are expected to join Gilas Pilipinas men on Friday during the second day of the Philippine Men’s National Basketball Team’s four-day camp at Inspire Sports Academy in Laguna.

Fajardo and Perez are coming off a grueling six-game Finals series in the 2023-24 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The two powered San Miguel to its 29th title against sister team Magnolia.

The rest of the pool is already at National University-Laguna and were welcomed by none other than Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas president Al Panlilio and executive director Erika Dy.

Also surprisingly at the camp was Japeth Aguilar, who is expected to replace injured AJ Edu for this window.

Edu also arrived.
