Cignal pulled Capital1 down from cloud nine, scoring a 25-20, 25-17, 23-25, 25-13 win to remain undefeated in the 2024 Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference on Saturday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.
Marina Tushova, Jenya Torres, Leila Cruz, and Des Clemente rallied the Solar Spikers back from 17-21 down in the third set, aided by the HD Spikers’ errors, to extend the match, 25-23.

“Medyo nagstruggle lang kami nung third set but good thing nakarecover kami knowing din naman our team, kapag gusto nilang bumawi, gagawin nila ang lahat para maipanalo,” said Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos.
The HD Spikers improved to solo first in Pool B with a spotless 3-0 record while pushing down the Solar Spikers to 1-2.
