Cignal acquires Fiola Mae Ceballos

Cignal has added firepower to its arsenal after acquiring the services of Fiola Mae Ceballos for the 2020 Philippine Superliga Season.

The team unveiled its newest addition through its official Facebook page, Monday afternoon.

Ceballos is coming off a three-year stint with Generika-Ayala.

During her stay, the 5-foot-7 outside hitter was an integral cog for the Lifesavers, ably contributing on both the offensive and defensive ends.

In the 2019 PSL All-Filipino Conference, Ceballos was then thrust further into the spotlight following the season-ending knee injury of Generika captain Angeli Araneta. She embraced the lead role, even dropping a monster 30-point, 30-dig double-double performance against Cignal during that stretch.

Ceballos is expected to be a much-needed contributor for Cignal, especially since Mylene Paat and Janine Navarro have reportedly left the HD Spikers fold.
