Ced Domingo revealed that she did not receive a contract extension from Creamline, leading to her transfer to Akari for the upcoming Premier Volleyball League season.
Domingo, who was still in Thailand at the time with Nakhon Ratchasima, shared that the Rebisco management informed her in December that they would not renew her contract.
“December pa lang sinabihan na ako.
“They called me and told me that they won’t extend my contract anymore. So this was bago ako umuwi ng Pilipinas for holidays,” said the former PVL Finals MVP during a Kumu Live session.
The Cool Smashers later signed former Choco Mucho middle blocker Bea De Leon, along with Denden Lazaro-Revilla, during the off-season.
Meanwhile, Domingo officially completed her transfer to the Chargers.
Domingo also disclosed that there were issues between her and some members of the team, whom she chose not to name.
“The truth is, I’ve been trying to be professional for so long.
“I mean, it’s easy for everyone to say that, pero you won’t really understand what I’ve been through unless you’ve experienced this,” said the two-time PVL Best Middle Blocker.
