Gilas Pilipinas Women 3×3 is likely to have only three healthy players available for the knockout rounds of the FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup 2025.
Camille Clarin sustained a right knee injury during the Philippines’ game against Australia, Saturday evening in Singapore.
With 4:53 left on the clock and Gilas trailing 15-6, Clarin drove toward the basket against Australia’s Alex Wilson.
However, as she attempted a pivot, her right knee failed to turn properly.
The National University standout collapsed to the floor, crying and clutching her knee. She was quickly substituted for immediate treatment.
Gilas went on to lose the game 21-8 (6:34), with Miela Goodchild sealing the victory with a two-point shot.
Mikka Cacho and Jhazmin Joson each scored three points in the game, while Clarin contributed two before the injury.
For Australia, Alex Wilson led with nine points, while Marena Whittle added eight.
Gilas will face Mongolia in the knockout stages on Sunday.
Earlier in the tournament, Gilas dominated Indonesia 21-4 (9:40), with Joson leading the charge with eight points.
Kaye Pingol and Clarin chipped in with six and five points, respectively.
