Brickman flirts with triple-double, guides Kaohsiung to 2-0 in T1


Jason Brickman and Kaohsiung gave New Taipei City a rude welcome in the T1 league, scoring an 87-69 win, Sunday at Xinzhuang Stadium.

This is the second road win for the Aquas, taking the solo lead with a 2-0 slate.

Brickman once gain had an imprint in the game, almost tallying a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists while also having two steals.

Down 46-47 in the third canto, Brickman nailed a triple to spark a 14-0 run to break the game wide open. Mindaugas Kupsas capped the rally with an and-one play.

DEA could only cut the lead to as low as six points early in the final frame before another Kaohsiung rally shut the door on the hosts.

Kupsas had a game-high 28 points with 19 rebounds and two blocks while Hu Longmao added 13 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.

Mohammad Al Bachir Gadiaga paced New Taipei City with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Lin Bingsheng got 11 points while Lu Jier tallied a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

The Aquas will next face the same team on December 18, this time at Kaohsiung Arena.
