Blakely makes statement as Blackwater hands Magnolia back-to-back losses

Blackwater might have found the stability it needs with Marqus Blakely, as it withstood Magnolia, 95-89, for its second win in the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup, Wednesday evening at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Blakely will be the Elite’s import for the rest of the season-ending conference, since they chose him over Aaron Fuller. He led the way for his side with 21 points, 13 rebounds, five steals, three assists, and a block in over 30 minutes of play.

Blackwater improved to 2-3.
