Blackwater has secured its future as it locked in Christian David for the next two years and the third overall pick in the 2025 PBA Draft, Dalph Panopio, for the next three years.
Marvin Espiritu of EMBM confirmed the developments to Tiebreaker Times, revealing that the signings took place on Friday with Ever Bilena chairman Dioceldo Sy in attendance.
David, a 6-foot-6 big man and the second overall pick in the 2023 PBA Draft, has already proven himself as one of Blackwater’s key contributors.
Last conference, he averaged 15.64 points and 7.36 rebounds per game, anchoring the Bossing’s frontline.
Panopio, meanwhile, is a 25-year-old floor general who has quickly risen as one of the most highly-touted prospects in last week’s draft.
Both he and David hail from NCAA Division I programs, bringing a mix of experience and youth to the squad.
The duo is expected to lead Blackwater in PBA Season 50, teaming up with Sedrick Barefield as the Bossing aim for a stronger showing.
