Adamson University kept its drive for the Season 77 men’s beach volleyball title alive after routing the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles in two sets, 21-15 and 21-13.

Adamson’s Michael Sudoria and Rence Melgar controlled the pace of the game in the first set, managing to turn back the attack from Ysay Marasigan and Jeri Apelar. With the Adamson duo managing to find the right spikes and Ateneo still struggling to get their offense going, the Falcons would close out the first set with the 21-15 cushion. Ateneo’s woes would continue in the second set, and after sixteen more minutes, it was Adamson who would walk away with the win.

Standing:
ADU: 4 – 1

ADMU: 2 – 3

Aggregate score: AdU- 42, ADMU- 28

Total match time: 32 mins.
