Bea De Leon, Titans mainstay, leaves Choco Mucho

Shortly after announcing Denden Lazaro-Revilla’s departure, Choco Mucho revealed another release.

The Flying Titans announced on Friday afternoon that they have parted ways with one of their longest-tenured players, team captain Bea De Leon.

“Once a Titan, Always a Titan.

“Thank you, Bea, for your dedication to the Choco Mucho Flying Titans since your debut with the team in the pro league. Your leadership as Team Captain and support have played a significant role in the team’s current success,” said Choco Mucho in a Facebook post.

Choco Mucho and De Leon started their Premier Volleyball League journey together, with the former signing the latter to their debut conference in 2019 alongside Maddie Madayag and Kat Tolentino.

Playing as a starter for the majority of her stay four-season stay with the squad, the former UAAP Finals MVP’s minutes slowly diminished in the 2023 season, eventually finding herself as a service specialist in the season-ending Second All-Filipino Conference.

De Leon is the third Flying Titan to leave the squad after Caitlyn Viray and Revilla.

“Best of luck as you move forward to a new chapter in your career! We’ll miss you, but we look forward to your continued success!”
