Balik Bayan, Balik National: NU Pep rules UAAP 82 CDC

Save the best for last.

Performing at the tail end of the contest, the National University Pep Squad showed no signs of pressure and pulled off a jaw-dropping performance to reign supreme over the UAAP Season 82 Cheerdance Competition on Sunday night.

Fresh from their title conquest a year ago, the Sampaloc-based cheerdancers defended their throne and snared their sixth overall championship in the last seven years of the one-day event.

The NU Pep Squad delivered a Pinoy-inspired routine that mesmerized the mammoth crowd inside the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

FEU Cheering Squad channeled its inner King of Pop Michael Jackson, clinching another first runner-up finish.

Adamson Pep Squad then secured the last spot on the podium.
