Kobe Paras and Niigata were once again on the other side of a rout, absorbing a 72-97 loss at the hands of Shibuya in the 2021-22 B.League season, Sunday at Aoyama Gakuin Memorial Hall.
Crushing was the defeat for Albirex as their losing streak was extended to 15 games, dropping to 2-16.
The game itself was already a rout at the half, falling behind 31-49 at the half. It would only balloon from there, growing to as high as 31 points in the final frame.
Josh Harrelson once again was unstoppable for the Sun Rockers, finishing with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Koyo Takahashi and You Nishino had 15 points each while Kaito Morizane added 12.
All in all, Shibuya, who went up to 14-4, knocked down 19 triples in the contest.
Kobe Paras struggled in the game, putting up just two points on 1-of-4 shooting in 15 minutes of game time.
Leading the way for Niigata was Rosco Allen, who had 19 points and seven rebounds.
Jeff Ayres tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists while Tshilidzi Nephawe added 14 points as well.
Niigata will next face Shimane on Wednesday.
