B.League: Dwight Ramos registers 1000th point in Hokkaido win over ex-team Toyama

Dwight Ramos achieved a significant milestone on Saturday as the 6-foot-4 forward scored his 1,000th point in the B.League during Hokkaido’s commanding 87-65 victory over his former team, Toyama, at Hokkai Kita-yale.

Ramos reached this milestone with 3:24 remaining in the second quarter, converting a layup that extended Levanga’s lead to 42-28 over the Grouses.

The Gilas mainstay finished the game with 13 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals, contributing to Hokkaido’s consecutive wins and improving its record to 7-18 in the Eastern Division.

Darral Willis Jr. led the team with 28 points and 11 rebounds, while Shuto Terazono added 13 points.

Toyama, on the other hand, fell to a 3-22 record, placing them second to last in the league.

Quincy Miller was the high scorer for the Grouses with 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Ivan Buva also secured a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
