Azkals suffer four-goal drubbing at the hands of Jordan

The Philippine Azkals suffered yet another defeat in their Middle Eastern tour as they experienced a 4-0 defeat against Jordan, Wednesday morning, at the Al Wakrah Sports Complex Stadium in Doha, Qatar.

Against the nation ranked 84th in the FIFA World Rankings, the Azkals conceded twice in less than 30 minutes of the match.

Musa Al-Taamari, who plays for Belgian side OH Leuven, scored a penalty in the 10th minute and secured his brace in the 26th minute.

Come the second half, Barae Jrondi’s men let in two more goals by the Jordanians.

Yazan Al-Naimat scored Jordan’s third goal of the match in the 56th minute while Ali Olwan made it a comprehensive victory for his side in the 58th minute.

The result meant that the Azkals have now lost 10 of their 14 recent matches.

During that run, they only won against the likes of Mongolia, Timor Leste, and Brunei while they drew Yemen.
