Three of the busiest collegiate teams in the country will headline a 16-man field that will compete in the 2023 Pinoyliga Collegiate Cup which tips off on April 29.
Defending UAAP champion Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines, and De La Salle University will take part in the preseason tournament that is in its second year.
Venues for the games are set at Activate Arena, EAC Gym, and INC Recreational Center.
Other UAAP teams joining are Adamson University, National University, Far Eastern University, and University of the East.
Meanwhile, College of Saint Benilde and San Beda University will lead the NCAA cast as Colegio de San Juan de Letran will focus on its campaigns in the PBA D-League and Filoil Ecooil Preseason Cup.
Lyceum of the Philippines University, Mapua University, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Emilio Aguinaldo College, and Jose Rizal University are also part of the tournament.
Completing the list of participating teams are NAASCU’s Philippine Christian University and UCBL’s Guang Ming College.
Pinoyliga owner Benny Benitez is currently in talks with international teams to be added to the tournament during its final stretch in July.
