With Game Three in its waning seconds and an impending San Miguel win coming, both Arwind Santos and Roger Pogoy shared a brief hug, ending their two-day beef.
“Wala na yun. No comment na ko. Nag-sorry na ko sa kanya at tapos na yun,” said Pogoy, who was fined PHP 30,000 because of the incident, after San Miguel’s 102-88 win.
“Okay na yun tapos na yun. Nagtapikan na nga kami kanina.”
Last Friday, Santos was fuming after an apparent low blow by the TNT rookie that resulted in the latter’s ejection. Though the hit made the former league MVP mad, it was the lack of an apology afterwards that triggered Santos.
But all is now well between the two products of the Far Eastern University.
“Nag-sorry naman siya. Ako naman hinihintay ko lang yung sorry niya,” disclosed Santos, who finished the game with 10 points off the bench.
The 11-year veteran also offered some advice for Pogoy, who has struggled in the last two games, shooting a horrid 0-of-13 from the field during that span.
