Alyssa Valdez tests positive for COVID-19

After coming out of the Pinoy Big Brother house, Alyssa Valdez has tested positive for COVID-19.

Her management group, V. Management Group, announced the development.

“After experiencing some mild symptoms and a confirmatory RT-PCR test, Alyssa tested positive for COVID-19.

“We’d like to thank those who have sent their well-wishes and prayers her way,” the agency’s statement read. “Please be rest assured that Alyssa is taking the necessary precautions and will be recovering from home.”

Valdez entered the Big Brother House in Quezon City last October 16 and ended up in the top two for the Celebrity Division. She left of the house last January 2 – the 78th day of the competition.

She won P100,000 and has qualified for the final.
