Allyn Bulanadi drops 44, lifts San Sebastian to NCAA playoffs


Graduating Golden Stag Allyn Bulanadi did not leave San Sebastian’s chances to fate, single-handily lifting his squad to a 99-94 win over Perpetual Help in the NCAA Season 95 Seniors Basketball Tournament, Friday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.

With the win, the Golden Stags raised their slate to 11-7, formalizing their entry to the stepladder playoffs. San Sebastian will face Letran in the knockout quarters on November 5.

Bulanadi scored 44 points on 14-of-26 shooting from the field, 7-of-12 from downtown, and 9-of-9 from the charity stripe. He also tallied eight rebounds, four assists, and a steal.

Edgar Charcos and Anton Tamayo played their final game for Perpetual.
