Emilio Aguinaldo College has lost its brightest prospect.

Incoming junior Allen Liwag bid farewell to the Generals on Friday evening.

The 20-year-old big man’s management team EOG made the announcement on social media.

Liwag spent two years with EAC, playing in 24 games. The 6-foot-6 native of Cavite averaged 9.87 points, 8.62 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.

Liwag was also part of the Gilas pool for the third window of the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

Now, Liwag is eyeing a move to either College of Saint Benilde or San Beda University.

According to multiple sources closely monitoring the situation, it’s the Blazers who have the inside track on getting Liwag.

Liwag is currently playing for Philippine Super League team Pampanga Royce which is owned by Jacob Lao. Jacob’s father Frank is one of the major boosters of the CSB Seniors Basketball Team.

Liwag though cannot transfer to a UAAP school as he played for Mindoro in the MPBL prior to Season 97.

Wherever he lands, Liwag will have to sit out one year and will only be eligible come Season 100. He still has three years of eligibility remaining.
