Alinsunurin hopes Choco Mucho’s VTV Cup success translates to PVL

Choco Mucho’s head coach Dante Alinsunurin wants the Flying Titans to use their impressive campaign in the VTV Cup as inspiration heading into the Premier Volleyball League Second All-Filipino Conference.

The Rebisco-backed squad is coming off a bronze finish in the tournament held in Vietnam last August, and he hopes that the experience they gained there can boost their campaign in the season-ending conference as they aim to end the franchise’s podium drought.

Sinasabi ko naman kung nasaan yung level namin,” said Alinsunurin during the Second All-Filipino Conference press conference last Wednesday.

The Flying Titans actually had the chance to make the semifinals of the mid-season conference, but crucial losses to F2 Logistics and Cignal dashed the team’s playoff hopes.

This time around, Alinsunurin wants Choco Mucho to seize the opportunity and finally make it to the semifinals.
