The bottom two teams competed in the penultimate women’s match for this year’s UAAP Women’s Taekwondo Tournament, it was the UE Lady Jins coming out on top to jump into 6th place against the Lady Jins from Katipunan. Irene Bermejo was the only jin in the Ateneo squad with a personal record that is at least 50%. Bermejo’s win-loss ratio would go above 50% with a Dymyr Lobaton withdrawal. Noleen Lagnada’s 8 kyonggo’s gave Karen Cells the win in the flyweight bout. Jane Quimora got her first win of the season with a 14-10 victory over Weedee Valenzuela. Kyla Relucio capped-off her UAAP career with a win due to a Kristine Cordova withdrawal. UE’s Darlene Arpon, Jennifer Samson and Ysabel Mercado took home wins for the UE squad to end their UAAP Season 77 campaign.
