Adiwang finally gets to face Brooks on ONE: NextGen

Lito Adiwang got his wish.

The Team Lakay standout has been booked to face top-ranked strawweight in the world Jarred Brooks on ONE: Next Gen III which takes place on November 26 in Singapore.

ONE originally slated the bout back on April 15 but scrapped it due to the Filipino contracting COVID-19.

Adiwang, who is 13-3 in his prizefighting career, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Hexigetu.

The native of Baguio City had been angling for a rematch against Hiroshi Minowa, who snapped his seven-bout winning streak last November.

In many rankings, Brooks (16-2) is seen as the top strawweight in the world as he has competed all over the world – including UFC, WSOF, Pancrase, Rizin, and Bellator.

In his last fight back in December of 2019, he took a dominant unanimous decision win over Haruo Ochi.

Now he makes his debut in the Home of Martial Arts.
