Another game of Adelaide in the National Basketball League has been postponed.
The NBL has announced that the 36ers’ clash against the Tasmania JackJumpers on Sunday has been scrapped due to players from the opposing team churning positive COVID-19 test results.
“The health and safety of the players, coaches, clubs, staff, and fans are the League’s number one priority when considering these matters,” read the team’s statement.
“The NBL will continue to follow the advice of governments and health authorities.”
Adelaide has only played five games so far in the 22nd season of the league, going 2-3. Tasmania, on the other hand, has gone 2-5 so far.
Kai Sotto, meanwhile, has only played in one game.
Last December 18, the Filipino import got three rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and a point in Adelaide’s 67-93 loss to Cairns.
The 36ers will play their next game against the Perth Wildcats at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, January 18.
