A2Z ceases PBA broadcasts

A2Z has announced the cessation of its PBA coverage.

The PBA games, which were part of a content deal with A2Z, will no longer be aired on the network starting this week.

The PBA games will still air on RPTV, PBA Rush, and Pilipinas Live. They are also available for free on all networks through the Smart Livestream app.

Additionally, One Sports will continue to provide a catch-up option for fans who miss the live broadcasts.

The decision marks a strategic shift for A2Z as the network refocuses its primetime block on entertainment shows.

A2Z has been broadcasting PBA games since the commencement of the 2023-24 Commissioner’s Cup after TV5 also shifted its focus to entertainment.
