F2 Logistics exerts mastery over Cignal HD, sets up another date with Petron

The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers entered their sixth PSL Finals after vanquishing the erstwhile undefeated Cignal HD Spikers, 25-22, 25-15, 25-19, in the 2018 Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga Invitational Cup semis at the Muntinlupa Sports Complex.

F2 Logistics will meet Petron for the fourth time in the Finals. The best-of-three series will begin on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Centre.

The Cargo Movers used late spurts in each set to finish off the HD Spikers. F2 Logistics mustered a 3-0 run to end the first set then went on a 6-0 rampage to cap the third frame and the match.

Head coach Ramil De Jesus lauded F2 Logistics’ effort and character in another high-pressure match against a confident foe.

“Kami ‘yung nabigyan ng chance ngayon na makapasok ng Finals so lulubusin namin ito,” said De Jesus.

F2 Logistics was splendid at the net and on the serve, gathering 11 block kills and 10 aces.

Rachel Daquis topped the HD Spikers with 10 points.
