2018 PSL Grand Prix Awarding Ceremony: Lindsay Stalzer becomes first two-time PSL MVP

Petron import Lindsay Stalzer was rewarded for her strong, consistent play through the Blaze Spikers’ 2018 Chooks to Go-Philippine Superliga Grand Prix championship campaign with her second MVP nod.

The 33-year old American made history, becoming the first ever two-time PSL Most Valuable Player, having gotten her first MVP nod in 2015 with the Foton Tornadoes.

“I’ve been coming back here for five years, so I had my chances,” she mused.

“I’m very happy. I always love coming back here because the support from the people is amazing,” added the globe-trotter, who has played in Slovenia, Indonesia, France and Thailand to name a few.

Cocolife’s Serbian import Sara Klisura and last season’s MVP MJ Perez were hailed first and second best open hitters, respectively.

Former La Salle teammates Aby Maraño and Mika Reyes took home the first and second best middle blocker awards.

F2 Logistics setter Kim Fajardo was dubbed the best setter. Foton’s Elizabeth Wendel and F2’s Kennedy Bryan bagged first and second best opposite hitter.

Japanese defensive ace Minami Yoshioka and Foton’s Katarina Vukomanovic grabbed the first and second best libero nods respectively.
