SLAM PHILIPPINES today announced rosters for the second annual SLAM Rising Stars Classic, featuring the top 24 high school players in the metro that showcases today’s best young talent in basketball.
For the second straight year, the Gatorade Hoops Center in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City will serve as the host venue for the 2015 SLAM Rising Stars Classic. The event will be televised LIVE and EXCLUSIVE on Fox Sports Asia, with tip-off scheduled at 7PM.
This year, guiding Team Hype will be the Ateneo Blue Eaglets and recently crowned UAAP Juniors Basketball champion head coach Joe Silva of the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, while coach Gian Nazario of the De La Salle Zobel Junior Archers mans the sidelines for Team Punks.
